Whilst creating a book, Jez draws and paints lots of pictures that are almost identical to what you see in the published book. For example, some have different colour backgrounds, others have no backgrounds at all but all are unique pieces, important steps along the journey of the book’s creation.
As the publisher needs access to the final artwork, we can’t offer those illustrations for sale but Jez is making a limited number of these preparatory drawings and paintings available for his fans to enjoy. Each is framed, signed by Jez and named after the text which appears underneath the illustration in the book.
To keep costs down we decided against having the artwork framed professionally and so the pieces are presented in light, perspex-fitted frames (either white or red) for delivery. We think they look great as they are but you can of course reframe them to your own taste.
