Really Enjoyable and Fun!
This really is a fantastic selection of poems focusing on events that happen during a typical school day. The poems are cleverly written in such a way which amuses and delights young readers (and older ones too!). Almost everyone will be able to draw parallels between characters and scenarios laid out in the book and their own experiences of school. Although the book states that it is targeted to key stage 1 children, I would not hesitate in using them with key stage 2 children. The book itself is beautifully illustrated with vivid images and strong colours. An excellent read! clarewood10
