Ever had an ambition, something you’ve always wanted to do but never got round to; a dream that for one reason or another never materialized? My dream was to be in a band and back in 2007, after an impromptu jam with my brother Graham, that dream finally started to become a reality. Within a few months we had formed THE JACKALS, a four-piece blues band with Graham on drums and me on rhythm and lead guitar.

Dreams can come true, but you never really know how they are going to turn out. The following excerpts from my JACKALS JOURNAL are chosen to illustrate the main twists and turns in the story of the band from first auditions to the last gig. Yes, the dream ended, but I learnt a lot while it lasted, and this is my tribute to that journey including my comments now.
